Welcome to Medically Me: an Alphabet Soup of EDS Related Syndromes. My name is Kassady Oberacker and I founded Medically Me to provide a forum to educate people both with and without Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and related conditions (such as: POTS, Gastroparesis, Chiari, MCAD, etc.), promote awareness for these illnesses, and provide advocacy for those within our community. In 2013, I joined forces with Ashley Ann Brown, adding her as a co-founder and official member of the team. Many chronic illnesses are invisible and are overlooked by both medical providers and society. It is my dream to turn Medically Me into a non-profit organization run both for and by the Zebra community and even though we have not yet reached that stage in our journey, I am exceptionally proud of the resources that we have compiled for our community. As we continue to update and add more information each and every day, we have also begun to make some of our awareness and advocacy dreams a reality, including the unveiling of our Spotted Zebra program our social media outreach via our Facebook page, and our new YouTube video series. If you’re interested in contributing to the site, please let us know! We are always interested including your story, an article, artwork, book reviews, tips and tricks, etc. Please submit questions, comments, or submissions on the contact us page.

Medically Me is proud to be completely FREE to our members and we do NOT solicit donations for the site!

Medically Me was nominated for TWO Wego Health Activist Awards in 2013! Thank you for your support!
